Instructional Entry

Advice on running 9.2km

Prperation

step 1- Get all Equiptment ready. Make sure all your shoes are tied up and ready to go.

Step 2- Light warm ups is the key to sucsess in running long distances. Go through all of your streches and drink water to hydrate your body before the run.

Step 3- At the start line fcus on what you have to do. No negative thoughts in your head about how hard the runs going to be and how long it is ect... The best tip is to just prepare yourself to run at any distances not matter how long or short the run is.

The start

Step 1- Start the run dont get to ahead of the group. If capable just slot in among the leading pack.

Step 2- Try to keep stay with the leading pack. If you can try making conversations with others. This really gets your mind off things and helps me to stop fatiguing

Step 3- Breathing is easily the most important part of long distance running. Reall try to slow down your breathing rate and start a breathing pattern. Listining to your breathing pattern is another way of getting your mind off things and also slowing down your breathing makes you less fatigue.
